The Evolution of Role of Human Being in Generations of Information Technologies: From «Button» Activity to Autoformalization of Professional Knowledge

Akiva Asherov

Abstract

In accordance with the generations of computers and generations of programming languages it is possible to select the certain, protracted enough periods, characterized by pretty stable technological computational processes, so-called generations of information technologies. It is presently possible to talk about six generations of information technologies. Dialectical contradiction between two of their functions is the source of development of the information-computer systems: the function of the data processing and function of communication. The function of the data processing will be realized actually by computers, function of communication by the personnel, peripheral units and communication network (data communications). A production-economic situation in different periods makes actual the first or second function and causes growth of the productivity and intellectual possibilities of the centre of data (in particular, computers) processing or growth of communications possibilities of the periphery accordingly. Growing necessities in treatment of information jointly with the update and complication of role of man make actual the new tasks of description, estimation, optimization of the system of «human being–technique–environment». The expounded models can be useful for the choice of maintenance of educational material at ergonometric preparation of specialists. Ergonomization of knowledge and abilities of specialists with every year more promotes the competitive ability of products and technologies in the modern world.
