The article brings us back to investigation into scientific schools (invisible colleges) in Lithuania and explains the new possibilities of investigation in the age of digital information. Scientific communication in scientific school including research-advise, co-authorship and citation are identified by bibliometrical methods. Presently, time-consuming manual work could be quickened using databases and specialized indexes. Unfortunately, in reality, the digital environment of scientific bibliography still has a long way to go. Some initiatives in the database and bibliography in Lithuania are mentioned.
