Attention is focused on the history of creation the Lithuanian military terminology and the results of achievements in this sphere. In discussing this issue, the articles by colonel lieutenant J. M. Laurinaitis published in Lithuanian military periodicals before the year 1940 were used as a base. Articles by other authors, archival documents and memoirs as well as information from military periodicals were used too. Teaching Lithuanian the officers of Lithuanian Army is discussed as well.
