The article analyses the book “Roadmarking, History and Culture of Belarusian Roads” written by Doctor of Architecture Armen S. Sardarov. The book contains a great number of historical facts covering considerable historical period from ancient times up to the present day. Important issues discussed in the book include development of land routes on the Belorussian lands, development of transport infrastructure, engineering road arrangements, history of bridge construction, etc.
The book is a valuable contribution to technical history of Belarus and it also attracted attention of scholars and technology historians.
